Vintage Two-Tier Live Edge Wood Coffee Table with Sculptural Trunk Base

Two thick wood slabs, set at different heights, give this vintage coffee table its distinctive stepped shape. The tops overlap through the center, each retaining an irregular live-edge outline. Broad growth rings, dark natural openings, and shifting golden-brown tones draw attention to the wood across both surfaces.

The profile is just as expressive as the top. Deep, textured edges reveal the thickness of each slab, while substantial trunk-form supports carry the organic shapes down to the floor. A low branching wood element extends through the base, connecting the composition visually and adding interest beneath the overlapping tops.

Each side offers a different view. From above, the table reads as an arrangement of flowing contours and visible tree rings. At sofa height, the offset surfaces and broad supports become more prominent. This changing profile makes it especially suited to a seating area where the table can be appreciated from several directions.

The exposed sections of both tops provide places for books, a shallow bowl, or everyday essentials. A few carefully placed objects allow the grain and outline to stay visible, making the table easy to style without needing much added decoration.

Its warm coloring and natural forms work well with organic modern, rustic, and eclectic interiors. Linen upholstery, leather seating, woven accents, and textured rugs all complement its appearance. Against a simple sofa, the irregular silhouette becomes a clear focal point; among other vintage pieces, it adds another material and shape to the room.
