Sculptural detailing defines the chair, from the deeply carved arms and shaped supports to the scrolling foliate ornamentation and shell-inspired motifs throughout the frame. Substantial cabriole-style front legs terminate in dramatic carved claw feet, giving the chair an impressive silhouette from virtually every angle.

The generously proportioned seat and tall upholstered back are finished in brown leather, providing a warm contrast against the darker carved framework. Traditional nailhead detailing runs beneath the seat and complements the chair’s richly decorative character.
