Vintage Italian Style Folding Guéridon Cocktail Tray Table

Vintage folding guéridon or cocktail table featuring a round tray-form top, decorative pierced gallery, and slender collapsible metal stand.

The top is surrounded by a raised openwork gallery with a repeating circular motif, adding an elegant decorative element to the otherwise restrained design. Three narrow metal legs intersect through the center of the base, while angled supports extend upward beneath the tray. The folding construction creates a particularly light, architectural silhouette.

At 18 inches in diameter and 23.5 inches high, this example is ideally scaled for placement beside an armchair, lounge chair, or sofa. It works equally well as a cocktail table, drinks table, small side table, or decorative accent.

The combination of pierced metalwork and a minimalist folding base allows the table to mix easily with Mid-Century Modern, Italian-inspired, Hollywood Regency, traditional, and eclectic furnishings. Its compact footprint makes it especially useful where a conventional end table would feel too large.
