This vintage French Provincial swivel stool combines the light-footed elegance of the Louis XV tradition with a freely rotating seat mechanism — purpose-made for the vanity, dressing table, or piano, and entirely at home in any room that welcomes a compact, characterful upholstered seat with old-world charm.

The four cabriole legs in warm cherry or fruitwood describe a clean, restrained S-curve that lifts the stool with characteristic provincial lightness. The scalloped serpentine apron below the swiveling seat adds a further note of decorative refinement. The warm cherry tone is even and well-finished, and the generously padded round seat in sage and olive green velvet — slightly crushed in texture, warm and muted in color — complements the wood naturally and suits a wide range of interior palettes from traditional to transitional to eclectic.
