Vintage Broyhill Premier Emphasis Walnut Mid-Century Cabinet End Table / Nightstand

A compact piece with plenty of presence, this vintage cabinet end table was produced by Broyhill Premier for the Emphasis collection.

Crafted in walnut, the cabinet features the distinctive dimensional detailing associated with Emphasis furniture. Three elongated rounded-rectangle relief panels stretch across the front, adding architectural depth to an otherwise clean and understated silhouette. The decorative front is actually formed by two cabinet doors, accented by a small brass pull.

Inside, the doors reveal a generous open storage compartment. That combination of enclosed storage and a substantial top surface makes this an unusually useful small case piece. It works beautifully as a nightstand, end table, sofa-side cabinet, or compact storage piece in an office or den.

A low plinth base grounds the cabinet and reinforces its strong horizontal profile. The result is unmistakably mid-century without feeling overly stylized—a piece that can comfortably mix with contemporary, eclectic, Scandinavian-inspired, or other vintage furnishings.
