Vintage Black Painted Windsor-Style Armchair with Gold Pinstriping

This vintage Windsor-style armchair features a black painted finish, fine gold-toned detailing, and an open spindle back. Its compact wooden frame combines a shaped seat with rounded arms and splayed legs, creating a traditional silhouette that works easily among collected furnishings.

The upper back is its most distinctive feature. Two gently curved rails frame a shaped central tablet, with slender vertical spindles extending from the lower rail into the seat. The tablet adds a decorative focal point while preserving the open appearance of the back.

Gold-toned lines and bands bring definition to the dark frame. Small accents repeat across the posts, spindles, arm supports, and legs, while fine outlining follows the seat and tablet. This restrained decoration gives the chair a little contrast without overwhelming its simple construction.
