Vintage Arched Wicker Wall Mirror with Basket-Weave Panel and Braided Frame

This vintage wicker wall mirror has a tall silhouette, a gently arched crest, and a mix of woven patterns that give the frame depth and character. Warm honey-brown tones run throughout the surround, highlighting the difference between the broad upper panel, finer horizontal band, and substantial braided edging.

The decorative crest is the defining feature. Alternating horizontal and vertical woven bundles create a checkerboard pattern beneath the curved top. A narrow band of smaller geometric weaving runs across the base of this panel, separating it from the rectangular mirror glass below. Thick braided trim follows the outside of the frame, while slimmer inner borders keep the opening clearly defined.

The shape combines a soft curve at the top with straight sides and a horizontal base. This makes it an easy companion to a dresser, console, or entry cabinet, adding a more rounded element above furniture with simple lines. The woven upper panel also gives the mirror a decorative presence beyond the reflective surface itself.

Measuring 29 inches wide by 47 inches high overall, the mirror offers generous height for a bedroom, living room, or entryway. Its warm coloring works with pale walls and painted furniture, while the varied texture also sits comfortably alongside darker woods and patterned fabrics.

Style it with linen, ceramics, and a simple lamp for a coastal room, or mix it with collected art and textiles for a more bohemian setting. The detailed frame provides enough interest to stand alone, making it a useful focal point without the need for additional wall decoration.
