A matched mirror-image pair of American vintage three-tier step end tables in cerused gray-greige finish with laminate inset tops.
A matched pair of three-tier step end tables in cerused gray-greige finish, American, dating to the 1960s–1970s. Each table presents three descending tiers — a smooth laminate inset top panel within a cerused wood frame, a middle shelf, and a lower shelf — on splayed tapered legs with metal ferrules. The two tables are mirror images of each other, the steps descending in opposite directions, produced as a matched set and most effective when used as one.
The step end table form multiplies usable surface area within a compact footprint while bringing an asymmetrical dynamic energy to the conventional end table format. The cerused gray-greige finish — cool, silvery, and consistent across all wood surfaces — works across a wide range of interior palettes. The smooth laminate top panel provides a durable working surface within the framed top tier. No maker identified.
