This vintage coffee table is a beautiful example of early-1950s American Mid-Century Modern design, with the warm honey-blonde finish that became so characteristic of the period.

The rectangular top has a softly rounded waterfall edge, paired with dramatically splayed, canted legs that give the table a light, sculptural appearance. An open lower shelf adds another level of function while keeping the overall design visually open.

Made from solid wood, the table has a substantial feel and the straightforward construction typical of period furniture. The original finish has been preserved rather than refinished, allowing the natural character and patina of the wood to remain.
