Early 20th Century Tiger Oak Barley Twist Table with Ball & Claw Feet

A striking early 20th century tiger oak parlor table featuring richly figured wood, substantial barley-twist legs, and distinctive glass ball-and-claw feet.

The shaped tabletop has a softly scalloped perimeter that highlights the dramatic figuring of the oak. Four elaborately turned legs incorporate spiral barley-twist sections along with ring-turned and baluster details, giving the table a particularly sculptural profile.

Each leg terminates in a dark metal claw-form fitting gripping a pale glass ball caster. A shaped lower shelf connects the legs and echoes the curving lines of the top while providing additional display space.

The combination of figured oak, elaborate turning, shaped edges, and unusual glass ball feet makes this a particularly expressive example of early 20th century furniture. Its versatile scale allows it to function as a parlor table, side table, lamp table, or occasional table.
