The classic Bernhard Pedersen & Søn credenza form — teak tambour doors, sculpted teak pulls, plinth base — from one of Denmark’s most respected furniture manufacturers.

Bernhard Pedersen & Søn has been producing furniture from its Danish workshop since 1902, maintaining the craft traditions, techniques, and tooling of its founding generation across more than a century of production. The teak tambour door credenza is the form most closely associated with the firm’s enduring reputation, and this example presents the classic Bernhard Pedersen & Søn configuration with clarity and authority.

Two flanking tambour door sections roll smoothly into the body of the cabinet, revealing adjustable interior shelving on each side. The central section presents four drawers with sculpted elongated oval teak pulls — a hardware detail shaped to the hand and integrated fully with the material vocabulary of the piece rather than applied as a separate element. The carcass sits on a plinth base with softly rounded front corners, a formal decision that gives this example a lower and more horizontal visual profile than the tapered leg variants more commonly associated with the firm’s production.
